Type 1708 is a 17 ounce +/-45 bias fabric with a 3/4 ounce fiberglass mat (chopped strand mat) that is stitched to it. It provides maximum directional strength and wets out quickly. This fabric saves time in multi-layer layups. There is no crimping since the fabric is stitched together instead of woven.

This fabric is compatible with epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resin. A full roll is typically 50 yards long.
