Talc is a fine, inexpensive filler that mixes into epoxy or polyester resin to make a strong adhesive. It thickens resin to a smooth, non-sag consistency that spreads cleanly and stays where you put it, so it works well for bonding parts and filling small dings, low spots and pinholes.
- Mix it into fully catalyzed resin, adding a little at a time until you reach the consistency you want
- Combine it with glass bubbles or microballoons for a lighter, easy-sanding fairing putty
